Clear adhesive vinyl offers a great variety of possibilities, but one of the most striking and convenient graphic solutions is its application for backlit displays.

If you're adhering your graphics to white acrylic or seeking a more budget-friendly alternative to translucent adhesive, clear adhesive vinyl emerges as an excellent choice.

Unlike translucent adhesive, clear adhesive vinyl prints omit the use of white ink. Consequently, the white elements in the graphics appear clear or transparent, creating a captivating effect where the colored parts seem intricately cut out.

It's important to note that some graphics may appear slightly dark and matte in daylight; however, this is intentional, as they are designed to be illuminated and showcase their full brilliance with backlighting.

What is the difference between Eco-Solvent Ink and Latex Ink?

  • Eco-Solvent Ink and Latex Ink are both used in wide-format printing, but they have some key differences:

    Eco-Solvent Ink:

  • Made from ether extracts of refined mineral oil.
  • Known for vibrant colors and good adhesion to various surfaces.
  • Requires more time to outgas after printing.
  • Generally considered more environmentally friendly than traditional solvent inks.

  • Latex Ink:

  • Water-based and contains polymers.
  • Does not emit volatile organic compounds (VOCs) during the printing process.
  • Odorless and cures at a lower temperature, making it more energy-efficient.
  • Prints are durable, resistant to fading and discoloration, and can be used almost immediately after printing.

What is a cut file?

A cut file is a unique kind of file that guides cutting machines with clear lines. Unlike regular image files that are full of colors and details, a cut file shows just the border of a design, marking where the machine will trim around your design. It should be a single-page PDF with vector graphics. Additionally, we can accept a black silhouette in PNG format for simpler designs.
